German Design Award 2019 – SURTECO GmbH wins two awards
As experts in creative design, we believe it is part of our job to apply our skills to spotlight emerging trends – we create. we innovate. And with great success. SURTECO GmbH has won two German Design Awards in the Material and Surfaces category.
We are extremely proud that two of our products have been recognised for outstanding design quality at German Design Award 2019. This is because the German Design Award sets international standards when it comes to the most innovative developments in design. Awards are only given to products which break new ground in the German and international design landscapes. SURTECO GmbH received a “Special Mention” for its COMPACT-STYLE product as well as a “Winner” for its CORE-DESIGN products in the Material and Surfaces category. A positive evaluation from this demanding jury is no mean feat. Anyone who can win them over with their product must have proven competence in design innovation and have a keen eye for both the customer and the market.
COMPACT-STYLE – „Special Mention“ 2019
In cooperation with the dietzproduktgestaltung design bureau, SURTECO GmbH is entering a completely new dimension in modern furniture design. The combination of a plain front and COMPACT-STYLE simulates a dyed laminate with a natural looking, inlaid panel. This effect significantly improves the furniture, and its edges give it a modern design accent.
CORE-DESIGN – „Winner“ 2019
Thanks to innovative SURTECO GmbH digital printing technology, it is now possible to print two different decors onto an edge, simultaneously and to our accustomed optimal levels of quality. In this way, it is possible to, for example, incorporate the decor of the rear wall of a recess or of the kitchen panels as a core of the worktop. This visually connects the worktop with the rest of the kitchen – creating a harmonious cuisine environment.
