Döllken 3D-Space-Wave
Winner of the pro-K-Award in the area of surface systems.
Our new 3D-Space-Wave range of edgebands provide a remarkable impression of depth because effects are embedded by means of co-extrusion and they also have a high gloss surface finish. They can thus be used to reinforce the appearance of more space while they additionally have easy-to-clean surfaces. Moreover, applying our 3D-Space-Wave bands is child’s play as both front and back surfaces are smooth so that milling, particularly when it comes to fitting and corner pieces, is unproblematic.
These innovative PMMA bands can be supplied from stock in four fashionable colours (stainless steel, titanium, old bronze and aluminium) in the dimensions 23 x 1.3 mm (ideal for fronts) and 43 x 1.5 mm (ideal for worktops). But we can do more: just let us know the colour tone you require and we will produce a customised product to meet your needs.

With the introduction of a range of new possibilities for contemporary furniture design SURTECO GmbH once again underlines its leadership in edgebanding innovation.
Imagine if it was possible to arrange a panel to make it look as if you had placed a high quality glass sheet on to a real wooden board ? What if this panel weighed far less and would be significantly easier to process ? What if the quality of the printed design imitated real wood to an exceptional degree ?
The edgebands consist of two colours or decors that run next to each other. On one side it’s a glossy solid colour that looks liked coloured glass and on the other side is a matt cross grain or horizontal timber effect which hint at an expensive genuine wooden board – that’s possible by combining longitudinal and transversal edgebands.
The processing of these edgebands is simple. Because there is no glass used nothing is wasted and every customer can work with them. The end result is very light because chipboard and edgebands are used. Its easy to pick up on the current trend of Crossgrain or Endgrain widely seen in the furniture industry and implement it with the combination of the 3D-2in1 endgrain edgeband and corresponding horizontal timber edgeband.

Döllken 3D-Space
The new 3D-Space edgeband will open up new furniture design options.
The asymmetric structure of the lamella interlinks transparency and novel depth effects. This creates interaction between the observer and 3D-Space edgebands. Both the surface finish and the appearance of the edgeband will change as the viewing angle changes. Visually, the edgeband will create a sense of lightness due to its natural and apparently mobile lamellae and the PMMA material.
The 3D-Space edgeband will display excellently on:

- Drawers
- Doors
Döllken 3D 3-in-1 finish
3D-3in1 edgeband finishes will be the perfect match to any worktop surface finish and the interaction between surface finish and contrast strip will create a novel oneness of board and edgeband never before seen. By embedding a strip matching the colour of the face, the edgeband will create a link to the design features of the room. SURTECO GmbH will offer customised design options in terms of combinations of colour and finishes of this edgeband also.
Döllken 3D 2-in-1 finish
Our 3D-2-in-1 edgeband is the clever alternative to real glass. The special advantages of glass will be retained, whilst drawbacks disappear. Acrylic material offers the option of applying the finish to the back of the material to thereby create a unique depth effect. With the 3D 2-in-1 edgeband, two colours, or finishes, will run in parallel. Plain colours will be combined mainly with stainless steel, but also with wood finishes.
A special high gloss varnish will finally be applied to 3D 2-in-1 edgebands, obviating the need for later polishing.
Döllken 3D-Duo-Gloss – appealing matt-gloss look
Perfect symbiosis. The 3D-Duo-Gloss edgeband impresses through its dual gloss property. Two perfectly melded gloss levels on one edgeband – the 3D-Duo-Gloss edgeband will turn this spectacular effect into impressive reality. Whilst the upper part of the edgeband will normally match the gloss of a high gloss top surface, the lower part will maintain a trendy matt glass look. An especially innovative way of combining design and technology: Luminous boards with Döllken 3D-2in1 edgebands for perfect illumination of objects and rooms.
