When using our website purely for information, i.e. if you do not voluntarily disclose your personal data, we will collect only the data automatically transmitted to us by your Web browser. These comprise:

When you contact Döllken via e-mail or via the Contact form on our website, we will store your
e-mail address, your title, your name, the subject matter and content of your message and any information you may voluntarily provide, in order to process your request. The data you transmit will not be merged with other data.

  1. Order for samples

When you order product samples via our website we will store your e-mail and postal address, title, first name, surname, company name, customer number, telephone number, order number and particulars of the ordered products and any information you may voluntarily provide, for statistical analysis.

By placing your order for samples, you simultaneously agree to receive telephonic enquiries about the products you ordered and for promotional purposes. We will use the above data within this framework as well.

When ordering samples you will automatically also be registered for our Newsletter. Please refer to Point 7 in the Data privacy statement for further details and how to unsubscribe from the Newsletter.

  1. Cookies

We will furthermore store cookies on your PC when you visit our web pages. Cookies are small text files stored on your hard disk and associated with your browser, via which certain data will be passed on to the entity placing the cookie (either we or a third party supplier).

This website uses transient cookies (temporary use) and third-party cookies (of third-party suppliers).

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. Session cookies store a so-called session ID used to assign different requests of your browser to the common session. This allows your PC to be recognised again when returning to the website.   1. Newsletter

We will use the double opt-in process for registration for our Newsletter. This means that we will send an e-mail to your given e-mail address for your confirmation that you wish to receive the Newsletter. You confirm by clicking on the activation link in the confirmation e-mail. After confirmation, you will receive our Newsletter by e-mail. We will store your e-mail address until you unsubscribe. Storage is solely for purposes of sending you the Newsletter.

Your e-mail address, title, first name and surname, your company and your preferred language are required information for Newsletter purposes. Your personal data will never be disclosed to third parties.

We would like to point out that we will determine your user preferences when sending out the Newsletter. This evaluation makes use of Web beacons in the sent e-mails (also known as tracking pixels). These are single pixel image files allowing us and third-party service providers to analyse your user preferences and to determine which of the e-mail messages we sent were opened and when, which links were clicked and what the response was. The specific Web beacons will in each case be assigned to your e-mail address and linked with a unique ID. The links provided in the Newsletter will also contain this unique ID. Based on the data thus obtained, we will create a user profile defining your personal interests and allowing us to offer you a Newsletter tailored to suit your interests. We may link the collected data to your other existing data.

You may object to tracking at any time simply by sending an e-mail to You may also generally stop such tracking by deactivating the display of images by default in the e-mail program your computer is using. Newsletters will, however, not appear in full in such cases and you may not be able to use certain functionalities. As soon as you manually request the Newsletter images to be displayed, tracking as described above will be enabled again.

Your consent when registering for the Newsletter will be worded as follows:

It is important to us that our visitors will experience our Internet presence as attractive as possible. This requires knowing which parts will be most popular with our visitors. Our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” to guarantee that your IP address will be captured anonymized (IP masking), thus excluding direct personal reference. Google will to this end abridge your IP address before analysis within the European Union or European Economic Area. Unabridged IP addresses will be transmitted to a Google server in the US and abridged there in exceptional cases only.
